Publiziert 14. Juli 2010 | Boquete liegt im Westen der Republik Panama, an der Grenze zu Costa Rica in der Provinz Chiriqui. Eine noch fast unbekannte Gegend, mit tropischen Inseln und bis zu 3500 Meter hohem Gebirge, die zum Entdecken einlädt.
Die Temperaturen liegen das ganze Jahr über zwischen 18 und 30 Grad Celsius, je nach Höhe.
Ein tropisches Berg-Paradies, ob auf der sonnenverwöhnten Insel Boca Brava – dem schön und in erfrischender Höhe gelegen Boquete – oder gar unter eisigem Wind auf dem Vulkan Baru.
Die fantastische Flora und Fauna fasziniert jeden.
Chiriqui Boquete Panama: Eine Region, in der das Wort Urlaub noch mit Erholung in Verbindung gebracht werden kann. Es gibt keinen Massentourismus, keine Abzocke bei Unterkunft und Verpflegung. Die Einheimischen sind freundlich und Zuvorkommend und nicht genervt und abweisend.

Publiziert 13. Juli 2010 | Die Temperaturen liegen das ganze Jahr über zwischen 16 und 27 Grad Celsius. Boquete liegt eingebettet von drei Seiten in einer prächtigen Berglandschaft und wird von einem Fluss mit kristallklarem Wasser durchflossen.
Das Klima kann beinahe als ‘perfekt’ bezeichnet werden, deshalb wird das Tal auch ‘Tal des ewigen Frühlings’ genannt. Boquete liegt auf einer Höhe von knapp 1.000 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel. Es lohnt sich, die Bergwelt rund um den Ort zu erforschen und bis zu 3.500 hohe Gipfel zu erklimmen. Die höchste Erhebung, der höchste Berg Panamas ist der Vulkan Barú, von ihm aus kann man sowohl den Atlantik, als auch den Pazifik sehen. Natur- und Vogelliebhaber können eine Vielzahl unterschiedlichster Vogelarten in freier Wildbahn in ihrem natürlichen Lebensraum beobachten – darunter den berühmten Quetzal.
Wer das Abenteuer sucht, kann die Umgebung durchstreifen und stößt auf wunderschöne Tropenwasserfälle, stets Sammelort für die wildlebenden Affenarten und andere Tiere.
